Anantara adds Rome hotel to portfolio

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas announces the addition of the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome hotel to its portfolio, marking the brand’s debut in Italy. The addition of this historic property, which is a member of The best hotels in the world, announces the continued growth of Anantara’s European footprint.

Immersed in the splendor of ancient Rome, the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome sits in the heart of Piazza della Repubblica and boasts a fascinating architectural history with original elements commissioned by Pope Clement XI for the Vatican in 1705. The building is suspended above the ancient Baths of Diocletian, whose excavated foundations, basins and mosaics are visible through the lower ground floor. The hotel is also home to one of the city’s largest rooftop terraces, offering stunning skyline views.

The 238 rooms and suites at this five-star luxury property combine old-world glamor and stylish comfort with the ease of modern amenities. The interior design ranges from contemporary to neoclassical, creating the perfect relaxing ambience and the base from which to explore the charms of Rome. Accommodation options offer varied layouts and styles with panoramic city views and spacious terraces.

The 11 Duplex Suites offer a breathtaking view of the Piazza and the Fountain of the Naiads. The three executive suites offer unique features including a treadmill, Jacuzzi, steam room or an intimate terrace for relaxation. Perfect for business or leisure, the two Presidential Suites feature double-height patio doors, marble bathrooms, and living rooms with dining areas and kitchenettes for intimate celebrations and private dining.

The hotel is home to five unique dining experiences, with indoor and outdoor venues honoring Italy’s most authentic culinary traditions with a contemporary twist. The Lobby bar is the beating heart of the hotel, and the intimate Tazio Restaurant serves Roman delicacies accompanied by the best wines of Italy.

Customers can raise a glass of sparkling wine at the Champagnes overlooking the fountain of the naiads, or drink and dine against the backdrop of the iconic skyline of the Chic rooftop restaurant and lounge bar, a truly romantic place. La Frusta is the place of choice for breakfast with a view of Piazza della Repubblica. Dinner is led by Chef Niko Sinisgalli who explores the flavors of Italy with exquisite tasting menus.

Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome is currently in transition to the Anantara brand. The full suite of Anantara features and experiences will be showcased over the next few months. The renovation, which will begin in January 2022 and continue throughout next year, will reveal a lobby with a glamorous blend of fine details and exquisite designs with an unexpected encounter of modern details and classism.
